Nicole is a Registered Social Worker, with a Master of Social Work degree. She is a 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who works from a non-judgmental, strengths-based, trauma-informed, client-centered perspective.
Nicole has three main areas of focus and training, which include: trauma, sex and intimacy, as well as problematic sexual behaviour. Nicole has taken a variety of trainings related to her areas of specialty, including completing her Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) certificate, the Intensive Sex Therapy Training Program at the University of Guelph, and the Problem Sexual Behaviour Certificate Program through the Sexual Health Alliance. She is currently enrolled in the Dynamic Attachment Repatterning Experience (DARe) program. She spent over a decade working in addictions before transitioning into private practice and shifting her focus to trauma.
Nicole lives with her partner and two small children. She loves to travel and has visited more than 25 countries. Nicole loves the summer over the winter, the evening over the morning, tea over coffee, but enjoys a balance between time alone and with others.
